Block Print Textile Workshop

Saturday 9th November 10.30am– 4.30pm
Thursday 14th November 2.00pm – 8.00pm

Experience a 6 hour Linen Prints Block print textile workshop where you will design and cut your image into a lino block ready to print onto tea towels and bags. Make presents for friends, or something special for yourself under the expert eye of Jacqui Watkins. All materials are provided and the workshop is open to all abilities.

Tea and coffee provided – please bring your own lunch.

Make your own Christmas felt decorations

Saturday 23rd November 10.00am – 1.00pm

Hand made Christmas decorations are always a beautiful addition to your Christmas tree so come and join our festive felting workshop and make your own decorations. Our expert maker, Cath Jago, will show you how to create and make a cute felt Snowman and Christmas Robin decoration for yourself or that special gift for a friend.

All materials are provided along with tea and coffee.

Mini Lampshade Fairy Light Workshop

Thursday 28 November, 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Saturday 30 November, 10.00am – 1.00pm

During this workshop you will create your own set of fabulous mini drum lampshade fairy lights using an array of vintage and vintage-inspired fabric and trims, all of which are provided. When you have finished you will have a beautiful unique string set of 15 fairy lights to take home. No sewing experience required.

All materials are provided. If you have your own fabric that you want to use please feel free to bring it along.

Tea/coffee and homemade cake are provided.

Sew Vintage Fabric Wreath Making

Friday 29 November, 10:00am – 1:00pm

Make your own fabric wreath or heart using a fabric of your choice. Complement your decor or give as a lovely gift. Customise your creation with our beautiful hand-made charms and fabulous ribbon. No sewing required. All you need to bring is 1.20 meters of a fabric of your choice. Tea/Coffee and homemade cake provided.

Rosablue Christmas Fairy Making Workshop

Saturday 7th December 10.00 – 4.00pm

The epitome of Christmas magic, learn how to craft your own Christmas fairy with Penny from Rosablue. Perfect for adorning your Christmas tree or to give as a gift, this full day session sees visitors develop a personality for their fairy using vintage lace and jewellery, where all materials and lunch are provided.

Peartree Flowers Wreath Making

Join Lizzie from Peartree Flowers for a workshop and learn how to make your own luxury Christmas wreath. Make a stunning 14 inch wreath using traditional methods and beautiful decorations from traditional cinnamon and orange, to more unusual dried seedheads. All materials provided so you can create your own unique wreath to take home.

Workshop Terms and Conditions

Places fill up fast, so your booking will only be secured once full payment is received. To book onto any of the courses listed please call The Malthouse Collective on 01453 755 800 between Mon-Fri  10-5 Saturday 9.30-5.30  or Sunday 10-4. When booking over the phone, payment must be made using a credit or debit card.  Bookings can be taken in person at the shop. An email address and contact number must be given.

All places are non refundable should you be unable to attend.  All workshops are held on the 1st floor of The Malthouse Collective, 6-9 Salmon Springs, Stroud, GL6 6NU. There is no lift to the first floor.

The Malthouse Collective reserves the right to cancel workshops due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient numbers and will make contact to inform you as soon as possible. Refunds will be issued in this instance.
